Blackberry ink

AAAAAAANNNNNDDDDDDD good morning to you :)

this smoothie was gorgeous, it was;
Pineapple chunks
Mango chunks
Alpo soya vanilla yoghurt

even though it tasted like one of thoughs tropical icelollys with the icecream in the middle..not complaining ;)
infact!! it tasted JUST LIKE THESE DID

**CRAP PHONE CAMRA PICTURE ALERT! !**

the bulk of this meal was this curry (half tin) with brown rice, green beans/sweetcorn/portabello mushroom/tomato
this was it but if diffrent packaging

i realy enjoyed the taste, even if it did bear a scarily simmilar taste to that of a chicken curry, i had to check i was eating the right thing..three times!!!
sorryabout the crap pictre, my canon was out of battery

quickie lunch before i went flat huntinggg, whilst reading a review of "the new forest show"

berry cheeky nakd bar with peach soy yoghurt and strawberries, i decided toeat smaller lunches but snack through out the day, works better for me :)

Sorry for the repeated sandwich but it realy was THAT GOOD that i needed to eat it again! this time i added grilled tomato slices as well as.

I know you cant really see here but this is a chopping bord that my mums boyfriend MADE for me :)
aparently my chopping is realy loud in the morning (i eat at like 6am) its realy nice though and well made.

Question timeeeeee :

Do you worry about getting a tattoo (or having one) and when u get old it gets wrinkly?

If you could get a tattoo what would it be? / if you have a tattoo what is it off and whats your reasons for getting it?

I do alot, i meen i know its a fact but its still in the back of my mind, abit like my stomach tattoo, when i have children its going to stretch major bad eek..
ah well i got a hella' while before i need to worry about that ;)

quorrnnnn

borrowing a copy from my friend lotty :D so hopfuly so cool recipes to be madeee,
(ignore how i look btw, it was half 6am getting realy for college)
I can quite happily say that porridge (or oatmeal to you americans :D) realy does fill me up! ive had it quite alot recently for breakfast.
thismorning i cheated though and got one of quakers oat sachets which comes with dried berries e.c.t in it. i made this and added a dried fig into it and a sp of peanut butter for extra yummyness.
with this i usualy have a slice of pumpkin seed rye bread that my mum gets from tescoss for me :D seing as im alergic to wheat i cant eat normal bread.. and making it is abit of a chore sometimes.

This is my dinner for last night :) it was quorn beef style pieces in a bbq and sticky plum sauce which was a mixture of two diffrent shop bought ones.. i havnt mastered making ones yet as i cant eat garlic or onion as it does agree with me :( grr
this is with trecoloured rice pasta, sweetcorn and mixed vegtables, i placed in sliced baby tomoatos in with the quorn and sauce to give it more depth, overall it was realy nice but unfortuntly i get realy ill when i eat quorn and my stomach realy hunts even now like hourss later, which is anoying because i just bought a pack of quorn mince and chicken style bits :( i was looking forward to eating it aswel, i thought that maybe after time i could eat it again >.<

im back to regular updating now :D so il speak to you sooon

Its been a while love ;)

BACK!! Il be back to posting my usual finds and trials now :D
i havnt done that much this week but il post more in a couple days now im aloud to cook my own food again. to be honest i have been eating alot of eggs recently to help with my weight gain and i kind of like them.. not sure if im going to stop or not now that my weights healthy again, but just to let u know all my food posted and shown is egg free and vegan :)

These are some wheat free cupcakes i made :) bit boring as i didnt put a topping on, they have dried mixed fruit in or banana chips and i put a gelenine free gummy sweet on top but im abiit slow so i put it in before cooking so obs it sunk to the bottom hehe but they still tasted nice, and like normal cupcakes, i used chickpea flour by the way and some all purpous wheat free flour from doves farm sold at tescos, i also used a packet of bread mix wheat free and gluten free, it came out o.k ovioulsy it was quite thick and abit like a crumpet but it was nice all the same, i tryed toasting it and the colour didnt even change haha but still it was nice with my cereal in the morning :)

This is a wholebake hemp seed carob topped bar i got from my tescoss and ive eaten so many, there quite sweet but not how u would exspect, they also keep you full up for hours!

I bought this from my local health food shop as i was stoking up on all types of fake cheese lol, it was well good, so far ive had it on a wheat free crumpet, pumpkin seeded rye bread and on a toasted wheat free roll ^_^ mmm yummy

This was a mixture of tofu, chopped tomatos, brown rice, chick peas, mixed veg and a hell of a lot of vegan soya sauce from waitrosee, dispite looking gross it was well nice!

Abit too much rice cooked :p i know whats for lunch tomorrow now! hehe

CAKE

Dairy free chocolate cake for my sisters 15th birthay (on the 18th july)
only problem is it has two eggs in.. :( but as im 6 stone 6/7 lbs and im seposed to be putting on a pound a week to get to a healthy weight im not too bothered about eating some egg because it will probily help.. for the time being anyway.

I searched many vegan cake recipes and tryed one the day before but unfortuntly it died haha and didnt rise or anything so i gave in and made one with eggs.
i replaced the milk with soya milk an marg with vegan marg in the recipe but it has soo much oil in eeeek :/ ive eaten so much of it though its soo good but realy sweet..
ingredients
170g flour
2 tbsp. cocoa power
2 tsp. baking powder
2 pinches salt
200g sugar
1 tbsp. vanilla essence
1/2 cup soya milk (could use water-i used soya milk)
1/2 cup oil (i used sunflower oil)
2 eggs (egg replacer if making vegan version-i used eggs)

prehead oven to 180 deg c (gas mark 4 or 350 deg F)
grease a 9 inch tin
mix flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, salt, sugar and vanilla essence in a bowl.add soya milk, sunflower oil and eggs.
mix everything together untill smooth, either by hand or an electic mixer at a slow speed.
bake in tin for about 35/40 mins- mine took around 38 mins to cook.
after cake has cooled cut through the middle and cover bottom layer with filling.
Ice top with chocolate icing made with melted dark chocolate.
Filling made by mixing soya marg, melted choc and icing sugar.

This is my sister cutting it open! but i was the only one to actually eat it last night (everyone was major full from the indian/chinese takeaway we ate for dinner- i had veg curry with mushroom veg rice and chinese pineapple fried rice, eww calories but still it was vegan i think? hopeeeeee)

I also bought some things from the shops while mum an her boyfriend took my sister into costa for a coffee and some buns (i didnt have eather)

*organic Spelt flour pizza bases
*organic peanut and choc butter
*waitrose vegan pizza (roasted veg no cheese)
*vegan cola bottle gummy sweets
*reduced salt soy sauce
* organic three bean chilli
*gluten free tinned organic spaghetti in tomato sauce
*TOFU RAVIOLI!! cost me like 5 quid! owtch but it looks gooodd ;D
and various other bits and bobs including some free mags and free tea samples of "african spice" flavor , they smell amazing!

This is a picture of my fridge now : look at the takeawayyyy ergh, even tho ive been eating it cold >.< the top cake is the vegan one that didnt work (probily will chuck it) the bottom one is the yummy one and the side one is the dairy one my sister took to school for her friends (left overs) basicaly were all going to be well fat after all this cake and stuff

Sweet joe pye

found my first local food shop!!
well happy haha
my mum only let me spend like 2 mins in it though and i was anoyed :( so much i could have bought!!
In the end i settled just for some "cheese" slices for future pizzas or to use with my mushroom burgers, (hopfully BBQ soon if it ever stops raining! stuuuupid british weather!)
I also bought two bags of vegan gummy sweets, stock up time! licorice and gummy things that look like the fruit ones u get in shops, i saw the lara bars for the first time but because there like 250 cals i thought they wernt worth buying :S

Suprised to find out that co-op's "american hard gums" are vegan! shocked, maybe oneday soon...

In the pic also is my licorice bars from waitrose, my dairyfree yoghurts from tescos, organic oeanut butter, i wanted to try the one with chocolate in but i didnt realise till after that it was dairy free, i think i may buy it anyway and not wait to get through this monster tub i just bought, 45675435 stone later :P haha

for dinner i used wholegrain spaghetti, tomato pasta sauce, fake chicken bits, courgette, baby sweetcorns, bit of mushroom stirfry and mixed it all up :) it was scrummy and very filling, took me ages to finish my plate. il try upload my picture tonight!

cereal time!

I must say.. on my quest to find a new yummy cereal i think i may have found one :)
I usualy, to be compleatly honest have readybrek with water and maybe some fresh fruit cut up inside, after microwaved ofcourse! as im more of a hot cereal person, cold bowls of cereal arnt as appealing for me....

but anyway, wilst looking in my local tescos (i swear i should set up camp on the toilet roll section and live here seing as i seem to spend all my time in food shops :p) I discovered ....

EnviroKidz Organic Gorilla Munch 284g

Ingredients
Organic corn meal, organic evaporated cane juice, sea salt.

It was about £2.49 i think.. in the "free from section", its sweet and morish which im not realy used too as most my breakfasts arnt sweet realy because i feel guilty, but i figure this being organic that its ok :p

after addin the milk i leave it abit because i like the ball thingys to absorbe abit of milk otherwise its too crunchy for me, im not a crunchy cereal person
it does actualy get abit overpowering neer the end but i think thats because its sweet and im not used to it. butttt overall its realy yummy and makes a nice change :) cant beleive ive run out though!. Im going to try some diffrent ones soon, apparently theres a peanut butter one!.. i will keep searching.. going into lymington today and im sure that there will be things i can post later from my finds :p

im well and truly back!

ohh btw....

"Capers" italian resturant/pizza place in hampshire is vegan friendly! my first pizza in about 8 months! i was realy happy haha sorry i dont have a pic because by the time we got it home i was starving and ate it all!

It came as a pizza platter(half pizza) with salad, which i didnt eat because it was covered in some sort of runny couslaw, chargrilled medetranian vegtables on a tomato base, no cheese, i sprinkled vegan parmazan cheese ontop and finished it off with egg free mayo and cherries

yum yum :D

6&7th July

chickpea curry puffs

I used this which i buy weekly (nearly) from my local tescos "free-from" shelf.
I rolled out some "jus rol puff pastry" an placed a few spoonfuls of the curry into the centre, i presse down the sides an baked for 30mins, it was yummy! i tryed not to think of how fatty it probily was.. being pastry... ah well it was reallly thinly rolled so its ok ;D haha as u can see it exploaded abit out the front.. bad pressing down by me!

6th July, carrot and coriander vegan sausages

vegan Wicken Fen Carrot and Coriander sausages from Waitrose and vegan mayoo from tescos
was yummy quite filling with all the other stuff :)(asparagus, grilled tomatoes and chestnut mushrooms, salad and tuna)
